VOLDE Big Bag Discharge Stations are modular systems designed to transfer powder and granular raw materials from big bags to process equipment safely, dust-free, and in a controlled manner.

The standard version delivers highly efficient operation with a 4-column heavy-duty frame, an integrated monorail hoist, a pneumatic clamping spout-attachment mechanism, and a massage-assisted discharge structure.

| Big Bag Discharge Unit

The FREEBAG Big Bag Discharge Unit is a modular system designed for the safe, controlled discharge of powder and granular materials from big bags, integrated with process equipment.

• The big bag is precisely positioned at the center of the unit using an integrated monorail hoist mounted on a 4-column heavy-duty frame.
• The double-walled, leak-proof spout-attachment mechanism secures the bag safely and prevents dust leakage.
• The pneumatic massage system continuously directs the material inside the bag toward the bottom outlet, ensuring complete discharge.
• The system can be manufactured with a carbon steel or stainless steel body, designed to be ATEX-compliant for explosive environments, and equipped with an optional protective fencing system to enhance operator safety.

Developed through VOLDE's in-house engineering, these units can be configured according to different process requirements and fully integrate with facility infrastructure.

| Big Bag Loading Methods

_ Electric Chain Hoist

The big bag is lifted by attaching it to a suspension fixture using the integrated monorail hoist on top of the unit and moved directly into the discharge position. It is a practical solution that reduces operator intervention.

_ Forklift and Carrier Frame

The big bag is transported on a steel carrier frame using a forklift and placed inside the unit. It is an economical solution for facilities with existing forklift infrastructure.

_ Overhead Crane and Suspension Fixture

The big bag is suspended on a steel carrier frame and positioned inside the unit with the help of a crane. It is preferred in applications requiring high lifting capacity and stability.

| Flow-Assist Options

_ Standard (Unassisted)

Operates without any discharge-assist components; preferred for raw materials with high flowability.

_ Pneumatic Damper

Starts and stops product flow; preferred for products requiring free-flowing, controlled discharge.

_ Pneumatic Knocker

Applies impact movement to the bag surface, breaking bridging in products with a high tendency to clump.

_ Vibration-Based

Product flowability is increased through vibration. Preferred for products with a tendency to stick and low flowability.
