Accurate Carbon Addition for Effective Water Treatment
Powdered activated carbon is widely used in water and wastewater treatment to adsorb colour, odour, organic compounds and selected micropollutants. Its effectiveness depends not only on the properties of the carbon itself, but also on how accurately and consistently it is introduced into the treatment process. PAC is a demanding powder to handle. Its low bulk density, very fine particle size and strong dusting tendency require careful attention from raw-material intake through to the dosing point. VOLDE develops integrated PAC handling systems that connect big bag or silo storage with the treatment process through an enclosed material path. The system is configured according to consumption rate, dosing range, plant layout and the required point of addition.
| Fine Powder. Precise Addition. Enclosed Handling
With powdered activated carbon, dosing accuracy and powder handling are part of the same process. VOLDE approaches the complete material path — from big bag or silo to the injection point — as one integrated system, combining reliable discharge, accurate feeding and enclosed transfer.
