| Volumetric Feeding Principle

Volumetric powder feeders feed material based on volume rather than weight. The feed rate is determined by the screw geometry and rotation speed. This approach ensures high process continuity, especially for materials with stable density and predictable flow behavior.

FEEDWELL volumetric feeders:

• Suitable for materials in powder, granular, and pellet form
• Provide continuous, uninterrupted feeding from 10 L/h to 5,000 L/h
• Operate within a typical volumetric accuracy range of 2–5%
• Offer stability that can drop below 1% with suitable materials

For powders that are difficult to flow, cohesive, or prone to aeration, the system is supported with a conditioning section, an agitator, and custom screw geometries.

_ Shaftless Pitch

Ideal for sticky, fibrous, or bridging-prone powders and granules, with a very low risk of clogging.
