High-Capacity Batch Dosing

Linear weighing and dosing is a batch dosing method in which raw materials are arranged along a linear line and weighed in parallel. Unlike central weighing-hopper systems, here each raw material either has its own weighing unit, or the raw materials are dosed sequentially on a weighing conveyor line. This structure significantly shortens the batch cycle time, since simultaneous (parallel) weighing can be performed instead of weighing raw materials one by one in sequence. The result: more batches prepared in the same amount of time and a 30–60% increase in production speed.

_Lines with Independent Weighing Units
Each raw material has its own weighing bin or weighing chamber. Raw materials are weighed simultaneously and, once the batch is complete, are discharged in a controlled manner into a common collection line. Advantages:

 • Fully parallel weighing, maximum speed
 • No cross-contamination between raw materials
 • Independent tolerance control for each raw material

_Long Weighing Conveyor Systems
Raw materials are dosed sequentially onto a long belt conveyor or screw conveyor equipped with load cells. The real-time weight of each raw material is measured on the conveyor to reach the target values. Advantages:

 • More compact layout
 • The same conveyor performs both weighing and conveying functions
 • More economical in terms of cost

    Thanks to this structure, weighing stability and dosing accuracy are maintained even at high capacity. Once weighing is complete, the product is transferred to the mixer or the next process stage via a belt conveyor, screw conveyor, bucket elevator, or dense-phase pneumatic conveying.
