VOLDE Automatic Micro Dosing Systems are engineered for the accurate, repeatable and fully automated handling of micro and minor ingredients used in small quantities within production recipes. Powders, granules, pigments, stabilizers, additives and other low-percentage ingredients are automatically selected, weighed and prepared according to the defined recipe before being transferred to the main production process. Each system is engineered according to the number of ingredients, dosing range, material characteristics, required weighing accuracy and production capacity. By combining high-resolution weighing technology with recipe-based automation, VOLDE provides reliable batch preparation, complete traceability and consistent formulation accuracy while minimizing operator intervention.
| Micro-Ingredient Weighing & Dosing
Each micro ingredient is stored in a dedicated hopper and automatically dosed according to the selected production recipe. Depending on the system configuration, ingredients can be sequentially weighed into a common weigh hopper or independently dosed using dedicated gravimetric weighing units.
During each dosing sequence, the actual weight is continuously monitored by the control system. Coarse and fine dosing can be applied to combine short dosing times with accurate final weight control. Once the defined target and tolerance are achieved, the system automatically proceeds to the next ingredient..

| Integration with Main Batching Systems
Once weighed, micro and minor ingredients are automatically integrated into the main batching process according to the production recipe. Depending on the plant configuration, the prepared micro batch can be discharged into a common collection hopper, transferred directly to the mixer or conveyed pneumatically to the main weighing and mixing system.
The transfer sequence is synchronized with the main ingredient batching system, ensuring that micro ingredients are introduced at the correct stage of the production cycle.

Ingredient hoppers can be arranged in linear or application-specific layouts and individually equipped with the appropriate dosing and flow-assistance technology.

The complete micro-dosing sequence is managed through the PLC according to the selected production recipe. Ingredient selection, dosing order, target weights, tolerance limits and batch release criteria can be individually defined for each formulation.
