Liquid Concrete Admixture Production

Precise Formulation. Controlled Blending. Reliable Batch Quality

Liquid concrete admixture production requires accurate handling of chemically different raw materials, precise recipe execution and controlled blending. PCE-based components, lignosulfonate derivatives, retarders, accelerators, air-entraining agents, viscosity modifiers and other formulation-specific ingredients may differ significantly in density, viscosity, pH and storage requirements. VOLDE develops complete liquid admixture production systems covering tanker unloading, raw material storage, recipe-based dosing, mixing, auxiliary ingredient addition and finished-product transfer. Each plant is engineered around the product portfolio, batch size, tank capacities, chemical compatibility and required level of automation

| Raw Material Storage & Secure Tanker Unloading

High-consumption liquid raw materials are typically received by tanker or IBC and transferred to dedicated storage tanks before production. Since several chemically different products may be handled within the same facility, correct line selection and transfer control are critical to preventing incorrect tank filling.

VOLDE designs tanker unloading manifolds, transfer pumps, storage tanks and piping according to the chemical characteristics of each raw material. Manual or automated valve-selection logic can be combined with position switches and transfer interlocks so that pumping is enabled only after the selected route has been confirmed.

Typical system features may include

 • Dedicated storage tanks for PCE, lignosulfonates and other liquid raw materials
 • Tanker and IBC unloading connections
 • Transfer pumps selected according to viscosity and chemical compatibility
 • Manual or automated filling manifolds
 • Valve-position verification and filling interlocks
 • Level, temperature and tank-status monitoring
 • Material-compatible piping, seals and pump components

Tank material, piping, seals and pump components are selected according to the actual product chemistry rather than applying one standard configuration to every liquid.

    | Recipe-Based Dosing, Mixing & Side Additions

Production batches are prepared by transferring the required raw materials from storage tanks to dedicated mixing vessels according to the active formulation. Each component is dosed in the quantity defined by the recipe, while process water and lower-volume ingredients are added through separate controlled routes.

Depending on the required accuracy and production architecture, liquid ingredients can be measured through load-cell weighing, flowmeters or other suitable dosing technologies. Mixers, transfer pumps and automatic valves are coordinated so that ingredients are introduced in the required sequence.

Auxiliary liquids supplied from IBCs can be weighed separately before entering the batch. Powder ingredients used in selected formulations can also be incorporated through bag dumping, big bag discharge or screw-feeding systems.

    Typical ingredients may include

     • PCE-based superplasticizer components
     • Lignosulfonate derivatives
     • Retarding and accelerating components
     • Air-entraining agents
     • Defoamers
     • Viscosity modifiers and stabilizers
     • Specialty polymer solutions
     • Formulation-specific powder additives

This structure allows the same plant to produce different admixture formulations while keeping ingredient quantities and addition sequences under recipe control.

      | Finished Product Transfer, Storage & Production Control

Once blending is complete, the finished admixture can be transferred to dedicated product tanks or directly to filling and tanker-loading points according to the plant layout.

VOLDE integrates raw material tanks, dosing equipment, mixers, transfer pumps and finished-product storage through a common PLC/SCADA architecture. Production orders and recipes can be managed centrally, while actual dosing values, raw material consumption, batch data and transfer operations can be recorded automatically.

       • Finished-product storage tanks
       • Automatic transfer from mixer to selected tank
       • Batch and recipe management
       • Target / actual dosing records
       • Raw material consumption monitoring
       • Tank level and inventory tracking
       • Alarm and event history
       • Production and batch reporting
       • ERP / MES integration where required

The result is a liquid concrete admixture production infrastructure that connects tanker unloading, raw material storage, recipe-controlled blending and finished-product handling within one coordinated process system.
