The performance of a big bag filling system depends on matching the feeding method to the characteristics of the product. FULLBAG can be configured for direct gravity filling of free-flowing materials, controlled screw feeding for powders and poor-flowing products, or gentle belt feeding for fragile granules and pellets. For applications requiring both high capacity and accurate final weight, coarse and fine filling stages are automatically controlled by the PLC. The system continuously monitors the bag weight through load cells, reduces the feeding rate as the target is approached and stops the material flow at the defined setpoint.

| Bag Inflation. Clean Filling

During big bag filling, the incoming product displaces a significant volume of air from inside the bag. Particularly with fine powders, controlling this displaced air is essential for maintaining a clean filling environment and stable material flow. FULLBAG uses an inflatable sealing system to create a dust-tight connection between the filling spout and the big bag inlet. Air and airborne dust displaced during filling can be extracted directly from the filling point and routed to a central dust collection system or dedicated filter. Automatic bag pre-inflation can be used before the filling cycle to open and shape the empty bag, creating the internal volume required for consistent material loading. For applications involving combustible dusts, the system can also be configured according to applicable ATEX requirements.

| Stable Bag Form. Automated Handling

Achieving the target weight is only one part of efficient big bag filling. The product must also settle uniformly inside the bag to make effective use of its available volume and create a stable package for storage, transportation and downstream handling. Depending on the material, FULLBAG can incorporate a vibration table or lift-and-settle mechanism to compact and redistribute the product during filling. This is particularly useful for aerated powders and low-bulk-density materials where settling behavior can significantly affect the final bag volume and shape. Once filling is complete, manual or automatic hook-release systems allow the bag loops to be released safely. The filled bag can then be transferred away from the filling station by conveyor for forklift pickup or the next handling stage, while the operator prepares the system for the following filling cycle.
