The SILOCONE Bin Activator, developed through VOLDE engineering, is designed to ensure that difficult-flowing, bridging-prone powder raw materials flow smoothly, homogeneously, and uninterruptedly out of silos. Operating on the vibration principle, SILOCONE eliminates sticking and compaction inside the silo, guaranteeing process continuity. Manufactured in-house by VOLDE, SILOCONE is used with confidence in industrial facilities thanks to its durable body structure, leak-tight connection details, and long-lasting elastomer components.

SILOCONE transfers the vibration generated by vibration motors to the conical lower body. This vibration loosens the internal structure of the material mass, facilitating downward flow out of the silo.

The system is suspended via bolted connections onto a special flange welded to the silo, through a number of vibration-damping suspension mounts that vary depending on diameter. Thanks to this:

• Vibration is not transmitted to the silo
• Mechanical stresses are reduced
• The risk of structural damage is eliminated

The single-piece, C-shaped silicone gasket, manufactured by VOLDE and placed between the lower body and the silo flange, both provides vibration isolation and completely prevents dust leakage.
