| Suspended Big Bag Handling for Dosing Lines

VOLDE Webb Conveyors are engineered for the suspended transport and positioning of big bags along linear dosing and batching lines. Big bags are loaded onto dedicated carriers and moved along an overhead conveyor route, allowing each bag to be positioned directly above the required discharge point for feeding individual raw material hoppers.

The conveyor layout can combine inclined and horizontal sections, enabling big bags to be attached to the carriers at an accessible loading level before being elevated to the hopper line. Conveyor route, carrier spacing and discharge positions are configured according to the plant layout, hopper arrangement and material handling requirements.

The Webb Conveyor is engineered as a complete mechanical handling system including the conveyor track, carrier assemblies, drive and return sections, supporting steel structure and operator access areas. Mechanical components and structural supports are sized according to big bag weight, conveyor route, operating frequency and installation conditions.

Where required, working platforms, access systems and guarding can be incorporated around the discharge stations to provide practical operator access during bag opening and discharge. Conveyor movement can be interlocked with the dosing system so that big bags are positioned at the required stations as part of the production sequence.
