VOLDE Manual Micro Weighing Systems combine the flexibility of manual ingredient handling with recipe-based digital process control. Designed for micro and minor ingredients that are used in small quantities, frequently changed or not economically suitable for full automation, the system guides the operator through every weighing step while maintaining recipe accuracy and complete process traceability. Instead of relying on operator selection and manual records, each ingredient, target weight and weighing sequence is defined by the production recipe. The system verifies the process step by step, providing a controlled and documented approach to manual recipe preparation with significantly reduced risk of ingredient selection and weighing errors.

| Recipe-Guided Ingredient Selection

Micro ingredients are stored in dedicated hoppers arranged in a linear configuration, with each material location predefined within the control system. Once a production recipe is selected, the operator is guided step by step to the correct ingredient and required weighing quantity. Visual indication and controlled access can be used to identify the active ingredient location. Only the designated hopper is released for operation, while access to other ingredients remains restricted until the current weighing step is completed.

| Mobile Weighing Cart for Flexible Recipe Preparation

A mobile weighing cart travels along the ingredient stations and provides a flexible platform for preparing multiple recipes. The cart can be configured with multiple weighing compartments, allowing ingredients for different formulations or production batches to be prepared within the same system. The operator moves the weighing cart to the ingredient location indicated by the control system and performs the weighing operation according to the recipe guidance. Each weighing step is verified before the system allows the sequence to continue.

| Recipe Protection & Traceability

High-resolution electronic scales continuously monitor the actual weight during manual dosing, while predefined tolerance limits ensure that each weighing step is completed within the required accuracy. The operator is visually guided toward the target quantity, and the system verifies each step before allowing the weighing sequence to continue. For processes where formulation confidentiality is critical, numerical recipe quantities can be hidden from the operator and replaced with graphical weighing guidance. Ingredient selection, weighing results and operator actions are digitally recorded according to the production recipe, providing complete batch documentation and retrospective traceability.
