VOLDE Silo Vent Filters are designed to control dust emissions generated during pneumatic filling and venting of silos and bins. As material enters the silo, displaced air is released through the filter while entrained particles are retained within the system, allowing the silo to vent without releasing product dust into the surrounding area. Compact construction allows direct installation on the silo roof, while filter area, element type and cleaning configuration are selected according to filling capacity, conveying air volume and material characteristics. Available with bag or cartridge filter elements and different filter media, VOLDE Silo Vent Filters provide a flexible filtration solution for powders and bulk solids across a wide range of industrial applications.

Reliable silo venting depends on matching the filtration system to the actual filling conditions. Filter surface area, air-to-cloth ratio, filter element and media are therefore selected according to conveying air volume, dust loading, particle characteristics and required operating conditions.

| Jet Pulse Cleaning for Consistent Filtration

During operation, retained dust gradually accumulates on the filter surface and increases differential pressure. The integrated pulse-jet cleaning system uses short bursts of compressed air to remove accumulated particles from the filter elements, helping maintain airflow and filtration performance throughout the filling cycle.

The cleaning sequence can be configured according to filter size, dust characteristics and operating conditions. Depending on the application, one or multiple pulse valves are used to provide effective cleaning across the complete filter surface.
